The Proprietary Patterns Collection

Finding inspiration from a variety of sources - architecture, vintage textiles, & antique tableware to name a few - the designs in our Proprietary Patterns collection are drawn by  artists in Pakistan. This talented team is constantly working to create the finest floor coverings available. Patterns are conceptualized at Knotted and then through collaboration with our artisan team, an initial concept is born in CAD. Final renderings are hand drawn on graph paper and subsequently hand painted in watercolor. The weaving maps are a work of art in themselves, guiding the weaver as each knot is tied. Each of our Proprietary Patterns is available for custom order in any size (some restrictions may apply).  Many are often in stock in standard sizes, please inquire and/or check our in-stock selection from the main menu. If not in stock - or if you need to order a custom size - production lead time is approximately 30-36 weeks. Standard sizes are priced, custom sizes outside of the standard require that you contact Knotted for a quote and custom listing to purchase. 

Please be aware that hand-knotted rugs are all unique works of art.  Sizes and colors will not be exact from piece to piece, these nuances are what make authentic, hand-knotted rugs desirable.
